What We Do

Farm Up Jamaica Ltd works with the Jamaica Ministry of Agriculture to research crops that are needed to help close the gap on foreign importation of foods in the agricultural sector. The Ministry helps up to identify farmers and farmlands to cultivate crops on a national level, so that we will have a direct impact on the market and the economy. 

We provide farming assistance to farmers that want to participate in structured programs, but who lack the funding necessary to do so. We also provide assistance to independent small farmers through a structured program intended to compile sufficient crops in each district of each parish and revitalize the smaller farming communities.

Farm Up Jamaica Ltd raises funds mainly through diaspora (Jamaicans) worldwide and local and international companies that have an interest in the recovery of Jamaica and its people. Farm Up Jamaica Ltd also acts as a watchdog type of organization to ensure that crops are sown, managed, and ultimately sold to the agreed upon markets to help to guarantee that received donations are being used for the purposes intended.

We provide assistance with seeds, suckers, the use of farming and heavy equipment, preparation of land, employees, irrigation, roadways, storage facilities, materials and labor necessary to accomplish the goal.
